Heavy Haulage in Camborne (Trevithick Day 2015)

This years Trevithick Day saw two Burrells 3919 Susie and 3937 Janet hauled a 17 ton beam from an engine house through the streets of Camborne. This isn't the first time that these two engines have hauled a heavy piece of history through Camborne on Trevithick Day. In 2013 they hauled a Cornish boiler through Camborne and Beacon to King Edward mine. This example of heavy haulage shows the sheer power behind a steam traction engine. It is hoped that this combination of engines and load will be on show at different events across Cornwall and further afield.
