507 Mechanical Movements - Series 1

These interactive mechanical sculptures are the first in my (unrealistic) plan to create a mechanism for each of the 507 Mechanical Movements from the 19th century book of the same name.

These sculptures were made using a combination of 3D printed plastic, laser cut plywood, and stainless steel hardware.

Everything was design in #Fusion360 and fabricated in the Autodesk Pier 9 Workshop in San Francisco (or in my garage).
