Bank Pool - EFREN REYES vs NICK VARNER - 1999 Derby City Classic Banks Semi-Final

A bank pool matchup between arguably the two best all around players at the time, Efren Reyes and Nick Varner.

Reyes, known as the Magician, would go on to be the most winning player at the Derby City Classic, winning more than ten separate titles at the event.

“The Kentucky Colonel” Nick Varner, an eight time Mosconi Cup Team USA representative, would go on to win the World 9-Ball Championship later in 1999 for another Championship on his huge resume.

Billy Incardona and Danny Diliberto were in the booth.
