The Supremes | Motortown Revue - RARE Radio Advertisement
The Supremes advertise the Motortown Revue sometime in 1962 as what was obviously their latest single at the time "Let Me Go The Right Way" is playing in the background.
This was uploaded on my suspended account JonathanLGardner so I decided to repost it.
This radio promotion features all 3 of the original Supremes talking. - Diana Ross / Florence Ballard / Mary Wilson
"Let Me Go The Right Way" was written and produced by Berry Gordy (Motown's president and founder). It was the group's fourth single and rose to #90 on the US Billboard Pop Singles Chart and peaked at #26 on the US Billboard R&B Singles Chart.
Contrary to popular belief Diana Ross leads the song not Florence Ballard, although she leads a single line at the beginning of the song "a go go right!" and sings the backing along with Mary Wilson.
