Everyone seems to have a theory and their own evidence of why their way is better.

For teaching each school has people who believe in different things, so they all add what they want to see but never really take away older things...

(I think this is because they don't know if it really works and this way the older stuff is still in place, just in case.)

...so there's now just a ridiculous amount of clutter, new systems on top of old systems, bad systems on top of good ones. And teachers have to do all of it whether it makes sense or not.
It's just too much.
