Tesla Gigafactory Texas 11 April 2021 Cyber Truck & Model Y Factory Construction Update (08:15AM)

Gigafactory Texas on 11 April 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!
Another great day to fly at Giga Texas! I was able to get in a lot of flying at Giga Texas this morning and took a lot of photos and video on what turned out to be a gorgeous and very active day on the main site and some of the newer outlier areas as well. Biggest area of new activity was in the far southwest corner, across the highway where Ranger Excavating has resumed large-scale land clearing and hill removal.

Here are some of the highlights from today’s drone flight:
- Over on the very far southwest (across the highway), Ranger Excavating was busy doing land clearing and levelling operations, including installing one of their raised water trailers with their logo.
- Over on the far east side, we see a lot of new materials being stockpiled as well as some vehicles and more contractor trailers. The land clearing area in the central east side is continuing to progress at a rapid pace, with the remaining ponds now almost filled with dirt.
- On the northeast area near the switchyard/substation, they are building what appears to be a diversion route for Harold Green in order to lower the roadway to the common grade.
- The switchyard/substation is also now connected to the large powerlines running south to north along the center of the main site. The Fence appears to have been completed as well and several electricians and work trucks appeared to be busy around the area.
- On the east and under the powerlines, more work on the electrical conduits appears to be underway as well as what appears to be a large trench to connect a gas line to the main factory. Also, huge, corrugated storm water pipes continue to be installed underground, and now a double pair has been installed near where the robotic assembly machine storage containers used to be.
- The casting machine structure has all but 8 wall panels installed on the east side and has lot of new equipment and materials inside and on the three main slabs. GeoPier work just to the north continues as they prepare the ground to support the large footings and concrete columns.
- The paint shop has the final roof covering nearly completed on the first large north section. Also, roof sloped connections to the casting machine structure are about 30% finished. Walls are now being installed on the east, south and west sides and where it is possible to still look inside, a large amount of equipment and internal structures are visible.
- The stamping machine structure now has all wall panels installed, most of the final roof installed and temporary plastic delivery door curtains installed.
- The southwest footing area continues to see more footings constructed and there are some large and deep footing excavations as well. They are within about two to three footings from arriving at the southern-most perimeter grade beam in most areas.
- The "central road" area continues to be cleared out and preparations being made for the next stage of construction. As noted in a previous video, sources say a large excavation in this area, just south of the paint shop should begin soon, so I'll keep an eye out to see if that does in fact happen.
- The west steel structure continues to grow slowly to the south, as it appears they are currently constrained only by enough steel deliveries.
- Finally, the northwest corner steel structure is growing at an astounding rate, now multiple floors completed and extending about 100 to 130 feet to the north of the west steel structure.
