The Suspicious Death of Mrs Rosse: Arthur Maundy Gregory, 1932 by Mark John Maguire

Arthur Maundy Gregory was an extraordinary man - a conman who made a fortune and spent it; a man who kept company with villains, bishops, prime ministers and even Royalty. In the early 1920s he counted the Head of Scotland Yard's CID, and the Head of the Secret Service amongst his associates. And he is also the only person ever to have been convicted of selling honours and titles in the United Kingdom under the Honours (Prevention of Abuses) Act, 1925 - a piece of legislation largely inspired by his misdeeds. But he is also the chief suspect in 2 deaths which occurred in 1920 and 1932. Did Arthur Maundy Gregory really get away with 2 murders?
