The healthcare system in the United States has it's pro's and con's. One huge negative for sure is the cost to have insurance. Prescription prices can run to out of control prices and there seems to be little done to make these drugs affordable to the common human being.

I personally had Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance, and still had to pay $_.__ every time I got a new refill. The plan I had through my employer did not cover the specific name brand that worked best for me.
