Holy Cross Badge of Honor 2020 Highlights

Holy Cross City is, in my opinion, one of the most difficult and famous hardcore rock-crawling trails in the state for street legal rigs. Stock vehicles should not attempt this trail. Best known for its two biggest obstacles, French Creek and Cleveland Rock, this trail also provides amazing scenery and fantastic historical highlights.

This trail is seasonal to when it is best to run. It rarely opens before July 4th and it can often be mid to late July before is it passable all they way to the old township and the hardest, obstacle, Cleveland Rock (optional). The earlier in the season, the more water is flowing in French Creek and can make things very interesting and fun. Snow usually starts becoming an issue in October so try to get it in before then. This trail is always crowded on the weekends, so expect a full day on the trail as you wait your turn to conquer the major obstacles.

Trail Rating: 7-10 (sever to extreme)
Things to consider before attempting this Badge of Honor trail:
-Roll over risk/Body Damage possible -Winch/Recovery Gear REQUIRED
-33" or LARGER tires REQUIRED -At least one locker
-Bug spray/ThermaCell -Prepare for a full day/Pack a lunch
-Rain coat/boots/rain gear/mountain storms pop up in the afternoon
-In the rain take this trail for a 7 to a 9 on a 1-10 scale (this video was in rain)
-If a line is forming behind you, keep it to 3 attempts then winch.
