What an awesome trail! Devil's Punchbowl! We started in Crested Butte and went all the way up Schofield Pass and then down the Devil's Punchbowl and through Crystal, Colorado and finally ended at Marble, Colorado. This is supposedly the deadliest and most dangerous off-road Jeep trail, sources say. It is definitely a shelf road and you don’t want to be distracted while driving it. This trail is more narrow than Black Bear Pass and to me it was more spooky than Black Bear. The drop to the bottom on this trail is way shorter than Black Bear, but it felt like the river was trying to pull my Jeep into it the whole way.
