Inside the Hospitals Hit by Hurricane Katrina
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, Inside Edition visited the New Orleans hospitals that were left deserted after the storm. When authorities entered the hospitals, they found some patients had perished inside. Inside Edition reporter Les Trent discovered abandoned rooms in two of the city’s hospitals, as well as dangerously high water levels and garbage that left an indescribable smell. #InsideEdition
