Picnic at Hanging Rock - meeting Joan Lindsay

Anne Louise Lambert, who played Miranda in Picnic at Hanging Rock, discusses the film with Education Manager Cris Kennedy at the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra in August 2015. In this clip she talks about meeting Joan Lindsay, the author of the novel on which the film was based.

The NFSA is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the film with an online exhibition, 'Picnic at Hanging Rock: 40 Years of Mystery', featuring costumes, props, oral history interviews, music, posters, lobby cards, photographs, scripts, oral history interviews and behind-the-scenes production documents and video.
