Ground-breaking 1988 Australian film Shame has been digitally restored by the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) as part of its NFSA Restores program: https://www.nfsa.gov.au/about/our-mission/nfsa-restores
The restoration will premiere at the 2017 Melbourne International Film Festival on 13 August. Award-winning actress Deborra-lee Furness will participate in a special Q&A session, following the screening. Director Steve Jodrell will also take part in the discussion.
