Women and Wills - Estate Planning for Your Aging Parents
Join Liza Hanks in this interactive session (30-minute discussion and 15-minute Q and A) to hear the inside story on what an estate plan is, why it matters, and, most importantly, how you can come to the process prepared and ready to make a plan that protects those you love most.
As parents age, caretaking often falls to their adult children, often busy with their own lives. Finding creative ways to talk to your parents about what they have in place, or don’t, is a critical part of being able to take care of them when the time comes.
In this course, you’ll learn about the documents your parents need to have, or get, in place, why they matter and how to use them, and learn some creative ways to have the conversations you need to be having, even with reluctant parents.
