Sewing a puff sleeve dress with a vintage pattern. The collar is DETACHABLE!

LET’S BEGIN!!! I am kicking it off my spring and summer sewing with this 70’s style A-line dress with puff sleeves… and since it was a hard pick between the round neckline and the high mock turtleneck, I decided to make a detachable collar! 1 dress, 2 collars!!!

Truly, we can have our cake and eat it too. XD

This dress is made using a vintage 70's sewing pattern, the McCalls 3871 and a thrifted vintage floral bedsheet. Watch this video to learn why I wanted to make a detachable collar, how I sewed the detachable collar, and how the dress looks with and without the detachable collar.
