or.......How not to review a new Camera !

I've been putting off trying out my new camera for 3 months , I wasn't excited it by it , if anything I was dubious & nervous of it . Sound odd ?
Let me explain......I dislike modern technology , I dislike digital tech even more , most of the time I have no understanding of how it works & I find the instruction manuals ( if they have them) are no help either !
I'm old school , I like buttons & dials , simple things that work & don't need a degree to figure out .
But I finally decided it was time to put my big girl pants on , get it out of the box & see if I could figure it out .

It's minute , minuscule even, it feels like a dinky toy , I think that's the most off putting thing & everything appears to be in a menu .I guess that's the sacrifice for size .
So today is not about the images , which is probably just as well in fairness , it's about seeing if I could learn to get on with this computer cunningley disguised as a camera .

The jury is still out, I have lots to learn in order to get the most out it...but I didn't call in to Harrisons on the way home & PX it......though that is still a possibilty .
