Making Black Powder (Gunpowder) Without Sulfur! (Carbon & Potassium Chlorate Powder)

Exploring a simpler method for making a Black Powder (like gunpowder) using only two ingredients! Mixing carbon and potassium chlorate provides a great black powder that burns fairly rapidly and surprisingly produces a lot of smoke! This is more of a "black powder" than a gunpowder, as this isn't suitable for ballistic use. This is the most simple black powder recipe I've used and the result is very satisfying. Please DO NOT try to make your own black powder at home. Remember, I am a trained professional! Thank you for watching!
