How to stop scam phone calls 2021? Educate your parents! Speak their language!

March is Anti-Fraud month in Canada and as a part of our host Elizabeth Naumovski's efforts to educate and protect people, she has initiated a new Anti Fraud campaign, in different languages, to help stop scam phone calls 2021.

Phone call scams are a huge issue. These criminal scammers often target the immigrant community, which is especially important here in Toronto where 50% of the population were born abroad. Often the anti-fraud efforts are in English and don't reach older immigrants.

Elizabeth recorded a PSA in Macedonian for her parent’s community. Children can show their parents and grandparents this video to help educate and protect them.
