This video is in response to a comment I received on my video about op-amp comparators (https://youtu.be/hyetRiuI3mk). Vlada Javanovic said the time delay circuit portrayed in that video wouldn't work because comparators have an open collector output. That is true for most IC comparators. However, I was talking about using an op-amp as a comparator, which would work. This video explains what an open collector is and the basics of how to work with them.
