HOW TO MAKE FACEMASK HOLDER| EASY BEADED CHERRY FACEMASK HOLDER| ROCHELLE MERCADO

Hi, guys! Welcome back! In today's video, I'm going to show you how to make a facemask holder using these materials right here!

For this project we will be needing these materials, one is round nose pliers, also a flat nose pliers like this one, scissors, glue, and a string like this one, the nylon which is number 15. It's a bit thicker than the ones I usually use which is number 10. And I have already made a video about making a facemask necklace, if you're interested, you can go ahead and watch it later. But for this video, I'm going to show you how to make a facemask holder which is a cherry design.

To start, using the nylon, string 15pcs white 4mm beads like this one. If you have 3mm beads, it's fine, you can use it. And after that, just add these green 2mm seed beads. And just a reminder guys, we have to start at the middle because once we have started making the cherries, we can no longer move the beads, so start at the middle. After adding the green seed beads, let's add these red 4mm round acrylic beads that serves as our cherry. After that, let's get our crocodile clip and clip it at the tail so that the beads will not move. Remember the beads should be at the middle. And right now, we are going to pass the nylon thru the green seed beads one more time, like this. I think it would be better to use a thinner nylon, maybe a number 12 nylon, because it's really hard to pass the nylon thru the 2mm beads twice like the one I'm doing here.

Beads should look like this after that. It should look like a cherry like this one!

As you can see, it's very easy to make this cherry design and we just have to repeat the process several times until we reach the desired length we want. So, let's repeat the process. String 15pcs white 4mm beads, then add 2 green 2mm seed beads, add the 4mm round acrylic red beads and then after that, just go back and pass the nylon thru the 2mm seed beads. Then pull it through and you should make a cherry!!!

once you have repeated the process several times, get your tape measure and you should come up with 24inches beads. So, after making a lot if facemask necklace, holder, or chain whichever you want to call it, for me, the perfect length for it is 25 inches. Once we add the jump rings and lobster clasps, it will be about 25 inches or a bit more.

For the final touches, we need a clamshell bead tip like this one. So, we just have to slide it through and then loop it. We have to make sure that the loop is sitting inside the shell and loop it as snugly as possible. Of course, we have to do the same on the other side of the facemask holder.

After that, go grab your glue and squeeze a small amount of it to secure the loop. Close the hook and then close the clamshell using your flat nose pliers and round nose pliers. Then you can snip off the nylon but for me, I prefer a kittle hit of it showing outside the shell to see that the loop is still intact. Now we have here 6mm jump rings and 12mm lobster clasps. All we have to do is open the jump ring, attach it to the clamshell bead tip, also attach the lobster clasp and then close it. Do the same thing on the other side and now we have a facemask holder.
