Sophia, the 1981 Fiat Spider 2000

My old 1981 Fiat Spider 2000. My Mother had a 1970 model, which was carburated and rusted like mad. The car sold in North America for nearly 16 years - which is quite a run. Later models, like mine, had a 2000 cc DOHC fuel-injected (Bosch Luft j-tronic) which was pretty bulletproof. Fiat also discovered rustproofing sometimes in the late 1970's as well. I bough this example for $1700, repainted it and put a new transmission in it. We took it to Florida on the auto-train once. We had a lot of fun, but sold it to buy the M Roadster.
