In October 2013, the Ministry of Forestry, Fisheries and Sustainable Development and the Belize Fisheries Department designated the Turneffe Atoll Sustainability Association (TASA) as the official Co-manager of Turneffe Atoll Marine Reserve. Located 30 miles off the coast of Belize, Turneffe Atoll is the largest coral atoll in the Caribbean.
