‘Underground dungeon’: Hamas holding nine-month-old baby ‘at gunpoint’

Israel anticipates a deal with Hamas will be made momentarily for the release of innocent Israeli hostages, says Israeli government spokesperson Avi Hyman.

“We do hope for a deal and we actually hope that those 240 hostages come home entirely,” Mr Hyman told Sky News Australia.

Israel’s spokesperson made it clear his government is attempting to deal with terrorists.

“We’re dealing with a brutal terrorist organisation that has ploughed through our borders, killed children in front of their parents, parents in front of their children,” he said.

“And again, has taken hostage a nine-month-old baby.

“They’re holding a nine-month-old baby at gunpoint in some underground dungeon.”
