Paul Fairbrook was born in Berlin, Germany, in 1923, and his family emigrated to the U.S. after a time in Palestine.

Ritchie Boy: At 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and became part of the elite Ritchie Boys, who gathered intelligence from German prisoners of war.

WWII Service: He helped write the "Order of Battle Book," a guide for the U.S. Army on the structure of the German Army, based on the interrogations.
