Deadly crash: car flips into ditch, driver killed on De Leon Highway.

A 63-year-old Rousillac man has died after a violent crash along the Archibald De Leon Highway on Saturday night.

Brian Aberdeen, of Boodoosingh Lane, Rousillac, was the lone driver of a black Nissan Wingroad when he reportedly lost control around 7:40 p.m. on April 11, 2026, while heading south near the Vance River flyover.

The vehicle struck a traffic sign, flipped several times, and plunged approximately 30 feet into a ditch off the roadway.

Responding officers later found Aberdeen about 10 feet away from the wrecked vehicle, lying in nearby bushes. Emergency medical personnel assessed him at the scene but found no signs of life, and a district medical officer later confirmed his death.
