Brexit Leader, Nigel Farage, Speaks to Illinois Conservatives on Fighting for Freedoms

Elmhurst, Illinois- At a gathering of Illinois conservatives, Nigel Farage, who lead the effort to take Britain out of the European Union, speaks on the effort to organize and fight policies, which diminish individual freedoms.

Farage, who told the gathering it took him over a decade to turn the tide of Britain from one that moved the country into a situation where they were increasingly being lead by European Union bureaucracies. He notes that all the establishment players were against him and his followers; the unions, the media, the Conservative Party as well as the Labour Party. But in the end, his efforts resulted in the nation voting to leave the EU, and in the resignation of Teresa May as the Prime Minister of England.

He uses his own experience as an example of what others can do who wish to fight similar policies which increase the power of government at the expense of individual freedoms, high taxes, increased regulations.

The event in Elmhurst was jointly organized by the Illinois Conservative Union and Freedom Works, as part of what they're calling the America Comeback Tour.
