2024 Golden Trezzini Award Nominee: Sokna Tiny House

🇸🇬𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: 𝗦𝗼𝗸𝗻𝗮'𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝘇𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!

We are thrilled to announce that the Sokna Tiny House by Tabesh Architectural Studio in Singapore has been nominated for the 2024 Golden Trezzini Awards under the Best Project of Private Residence Category. This nomination recognizes the remarkable creativity and thoughtful design that defines the Sokna Tiny House.

With an area of just 30 square meters, this residence is perfectly suited for two, featuring a kitchen area, dining area, living room with a fireplace, guest WC, and two separate master bedrooms. The design philosophy behind this project was to maximize the use of space and create biologically diverse environments. The clever use of horizontal and vertical communication serves as a means of separation and space creation, allowing for semi-open and semi-private areas that are enriched with natural and plant elements to ensure visual privacy for the occupants.

The motto of the Awards is 'Architecture as Art'.

The main prize is a gilded figurine of Domenico Trezzini, the first architect of St Petersburg.

We invite architects, restorers, interior and set designers, exhibition creators, sculptors, and architecture students to submit their work.

Selected winners will be featured in the State Museum's permanent collection.
