"The Prophet" (2001) is one of the saddest songs Gary Moore ever wrote.
I hope I play it good enough to honor his memory.

Although I also already played "The Messiah will come again" and "The Loner", I found this song much harder to do. Those who play it will realize its obstacles and what a great guitar player Gary was.

A technical hint:

Especially for this song Gary used his Les Paul DC which had 24 frets in order to get those very high notes. As I don't own such a guitar I played it with my Les Paul '58 V.O.S. but had to do a little change in the higher played part.
