This is a single foil HYDROFOIL Hydroelectric Generator that I designed to produce energy from the slow moving and otherwise useless water flows that are found all around the world. By using a hydrofoil wing instead of a turbine or pelton wheel we can generate large amounts of torque that can be turned into RPM's for use in generating electric energy. The hydrofoil design allows you to produce energy from rivers with little to no drop or head to the water flow, this will open up untapped hydroelectric resources the world over.
