30 years of HIV AIDS care at St Vincent's - extended cut

St Vincent's Hospital Sydney is commemorating 30 years of HIV/AIDS care, having opened the first dedicated HIV/AIDS ward in Australia in 1984.

St Vincent's was located at the epicenter of the disease and at the height of the epidemic was treating on average 50 patients a month.

Doctors, nurses and patients reflect on their time at St Vincent's and what Ward 17 South means to them.
