Loki Wasn’t Broken Just Outplayed

In Norse mythology, Loki is known as a trickster—clever, unpredictable, and often dangerous. He moves between gods and giants, never fully belonging to either.

Geirröd is one of the jötnar, a giant ruler who comes into conflict with the gods. When he captures Loki, he doesn’t kill him. Instead, he forces him into a position where there is only one outcome left.

This story is part of a larger myth where Loki is made to bring Thor into Geirröd’s hall—without his weapons.
