One of our subscribers asked us an interesting question: which countries are, according to me, most likely to implement some sort of a flat tax or territorial tax system?
So today we are going to cover exactly this, we'll be talking about which countries are the most likely to introduce a more favorable tax regime.
As I already mentioned in my previous videos, the world is divided into two types of countries: countries that want to take more and more in terms of tax dollars, and want the rich people to pay what they call ''the fair share'' & countries that are doing exactly the opposite - countries that are competing for tax dollars and want to attract wealthy foreigners. The latter is where most of our clients want to move to, and the former is where do they usually come from.
Which are the countries that will drastically improve their taxes in order to attract more people.
We've already seen Greece, Portugal, Malta, and Cyprus offering favorable tax regimes for foreigners. Also, Italy has recently introduced some good tax programs.
We know that traditionally we had countries like Bulgaria and Montenegro with fairly low tax rates, which also offer affordable costs of living, so many foreigners moved there.
If you're following this channel you've also heard about Estonia and Georgia. Many countries are creating good tax incentives for foreigners because there is a fairly low chance that they would move there otherwise.
Countries that feel the need to attract people are more likely to implement more favorable tax regimes.
These are forward-looking countries, that are traditionally ''unattractive'' OR countries that have been good in the past but now see the exodus of people.
Who are we and what do we do?
We are the Offshore Citizen team. We help people become global: get a second passport, set up a second residency, pay less taxes, do banking abroad, etc.
We have lots of interesting articles on different topics, we have relevant information up to date.
