Live Art Chat | What does Santa do when there is no snow | Part Two

Join me for a live art chat, where the mystery of what does Santa do when there is no snow will be solved. Paint along as we create Santa visiting the southern hemisphere! In today's part two, we will be completing Santa, his surf board and any other final details.

The painting in today's live art chat, of What Santa does when there is no snow part two, was inspired by one of my viewers, thank you Starving Artist Collective. She mentioned in a previous live chat that in Australia they don't have snow in winter, our winter in the northern hemisphere is their summer, which inspired this painting. I can also remember living in Hawaii, where it never snowed at Christmas time either. I thought it would be fun to illustrate and create a beach Santa painting, with Santa ready to catch some waves & enjoying some beach time. So for all of you that celebrate Christmas in a warm sunny climate, this is for you! I hope you all enjoy it, grab the line art and paint along with me.

To follow along live art chat and paint part two - what does Santa do when there is no snow, you will only need a primary set of colors, plus white & black, a canvas or other surface you can paint on, & some brushes. I'll be using supplies from my November 2021 Paletteful Packs box. I enjoyed the Amsterdam paints so much when I did that video that I wanted to try them out with my brushes, versus only using a palette knife and one small filbert like I had to do in my winter mountain scene.
