What drives you?

Like most guys, I want to make my dad proud. Most things I have ever accomplished I can remember thinking that one of the best feeling was that of making my dad think "that's my son."

At every point there comes a change though. Our parents get older, and you stop trying to impress your dad as much as you just want them to be happy. Sometime they are one in the same. Our parents like watching their kids succeed and live a good life, but what about their lives?

My dad had a terrible back injury at the age of 58. He had his life taken away from him. I became obsessed with trying to figure out how I could help him get it back. I am not a doctor. I didn't go to school for this. But I can argue that it may have been a good thing.

I pushed my dad into testosterone replacement therapy. This is how he feels about two years into that choice.

Lets just say, Steroids Saved My Dads Life.
