As Many Reps as Possible in 7 Minutes
Burpees to a 6” Target
Your score will be the total number of Burpees completed in a 7:00 window.
Video Submission Standards
Complete the video submission standards BEFORE YOU START THE WORKOUT!!
A 5% Penalty will be given if video submission standards are shown after. A ZERO SCORE will be given if not shown at all.
• Stand with your feet together AND touching under your target.
• While standing with your hips and knees straight, extend an arm overhead.
• The bottom of this target must be 6 inches OR FURTHER from your extended fingers.
• Clearly show the measurement process during your video submission.
• IF ANY PART OF YOUR BODY LEAVES THE VIDEO for any reason during the workout you will receive credit up until that point, and then the workout is over.
• Clock MUST BE shown in the video. WODProof has a NOpen preset that you may also use. Video will be given a zero score if there is no clock.
• Clock MUST RUN UP to 7:00.
Movement Standards
The Burpee
If you wear shoes while measuring, you must wear shoes during the workout.
If you do not wear shoes while measuring, you do not wear shoes during the workout.
A) You must touch your chest and hips to the ground at the bottom of each burpee. It doesn't matter how you achieve this.
B) At the top of each burpee, you must touch at or above the 6 inches with BOTH HANDS.
•If you miss the target during the jump you DO NOT need to repeat the entire burpee. YOU DO need to complete the touch with both hands before continuing to the next rep.
• Target can be ANYTHING so long as you make contact with the hands simultaneously. If you are using a Pull Up Bar, consider additional matting to elevate the floor if you need to decrease distance to the target.
Flow
• Athlete starting position is standing tall under the target.
• At the call of 3, 2, 1, go you may begin your 1st Burpee.
• DO NOT MOVE (Do not start the burpee) until the clock has started OR there is a clear sound indicating the workout has begun. IF YOU MOVE EARLY a 5% Penalty will be given.
Penalties
View the penalty system as "the polar opposite" of artificial intelligence. The judging team will make determinations that will be fair across the competition. You have nothing to worry about so long as you complete the movements as stated. As you very well may know, all reps are not created equal. In every workout this will be taken into consideration.
