1967 Ford Galaxie 289 Cold Start, Carbureted

Just a walk around of my car, and a Cold Start,

having issues with hiccups. what seems like a flooding issue. there is hesitation before slowing down to a halt and dying.

since driving the car a few times. the problem seems to have lessened.

could it be vapor lock? bad fuel? ignition timing? or air fuel mixture.. so many problems with carburetors, i thought about going with the Holley Sniper EFI but seeing so many videos of people having issues. i decided to hold off for a little longer. my car has a rebuilt carb from Canada.

for now it seem to idle fine. fires right up on after pressing the gas pedal twice.
