Stayed at Angel Hotel resort. Easy access to most ski resorts in the area including. The resorts in the video. Hotel provides free shuttle to and from resorts and main train station Echigo-Yuzawa. Even provides private rides if needed. Hotel has hot spring bath but no tattoos allowed, 24 hour massage chairs in lobby. Rooms are very clean, and plenty of ski/snow board set rental businesses right outside hotel. Which we rented from Liberty right next door from hotel 1,800 yen for snow board and boots/ adult and child for child 1,500 yen one day rental.
Gala Ski resort one day pass for the Ropeway to resort 1,800 yen/adult and 4yr old and under are free. You can rent sleds for 1,000 each, snow tour 2,000 each even child and snow mobile 500 yen each. Was only an 12 min ride from hotel.
Iwappara resort was a 4 min ride on free shuttle about 10 yards from hotel. Lift pass 3,300 for 6 hours. We rented gear before we arrived. Had nice slopes for beginners and advanced.
