Nagano Snow Monkeys & Matsumoto Castle 地獄谷野猿公苑と松本城

My family and I decided to take a trip to Nagano. To see the famous Matsumoto Castle and the Snow Monkeys. It was about a 3 and half hour drive from our town Yokosuka, Japan. There were a total of 3 toll stops. With a total of 6 toll stops round trip for us. We found great restaurants near the Matsumoto castle and a need shrine with street markets. The Snow Monkeys park was a nice hike up the mountain but the path was well made and was a gradual incline. Kid friendly and stroller friendly. Theres nothing stopping you from falling off the edge of the mountain. The hike was joy able and the kids loved it. The Monkeys were roaming free and you have plenty opportunity to get the right picture of them. They are well behaved.
