(Chef Michel recently brought his parents to their final resting place in France. As an only child, he longed to reconnect with his cultural roots and his surviving family in the South of France. His 30-year career as a Chef around the world had kept him away from his parents’ origins.

We share his journey back to where he had his early training in classical French cuisine, to some of his early workplaces, to the rich culinary tradition of his family and inspiration from the farm, as he pays homage to his cultural and culinary roots.
