5 Healthy Snack Ideas | HIGH PROTEIN & LOW CARB | Stay Fuller Longer
Today I'm showing you 5 of my favorite high protein snacks that keep me on track with my healthy lifestyle. These snacks are packed with healthy fats & protein, so they keep me fuller for longer. I will soon be posting my beetroot hummus recipe featured in today's video!
RECIPES FEATURED IN THIS VIDEO:
Hummus on Toast
1 slice of toasted bread (I’m using Ezekiel bread)
1 tbsp hummus, spread on toast
Cucumber (sliced into 4 pieces)
Fresh lemon or lime juice
1/4 Sliced Avocado
Everything But The Bagel Seasoning (Trader Joes)
Tuna Salad
1 can Tuna, drained
1/4 Red Onion, diced
4 Celery Sticks, chopped
1/4 Apple, diced (I like Fuji Apples)
1 handful of toasted Almonds
Dressing:
1 tbsp Mayonnaise (I use the Primal Foods avocado oil mayo)
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Optional Seasonings:
Cayenne Pepper
Paprika
Chili Flakes
Garlic Powder
Chicken Salad
Grilled or Poached Chicken breast (1 breast per serving)
1 Handful - Red Grapes (sliced in half)
1 Handful - Toasted Almonds, roughly chopped
4 Celery Sticks, chopped
2 Green Onions, chopped
Dressing:
1 tbsp Greek yogurt or Mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Curry powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tsp Onion powder
Salt & Pepper
Berry Yogurt Bowl
1/4 cup Greek Yogurt (whole fat, plain)
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Hemp Seeds
1 tsp Chia Seeds
Strawberries, Blueberries (any berries you like!)
Nut Butter Dip w/ Apples
1 tbsp Almond Butter (smooth)
1 tbsp Peanut Butter (crunchy)
1 tsp Coconut Oil
1 tsp Chia Seeds
1 tsp Hemp Seeds
1/4 tsp Himalayan Pink Sea Salt
1 Fuji Apple sliced
