Saving a Forgotten 19th Century Blacksmith Workshop Buried Under a Modern Landfill

They buried this place under trash for fifty years. A 19th century blacksmith workshop. Where horses were shod. Where iron was forged. Where a community was built.

The roof had collapsed. The walls were crumbling. The anvil was rusted. The forge was cold. The bellows were dust.

But the anvil was still there. The forge still stood. The bones were still there. The spirit was still there.

We cleared the debris. We rebuilt the stone walls. We raised a new roof. We restored the anvil. We rebuilt the forge. We lit the first fire in fifty years.

And then, the hammer struck.

That ring? That's 19th century craftsmanship, alive again.
