He will talk about the concept of how Earnings is a reflection of the stock prices. The higher the earnings, the higher the stock prices go. But then he will leave us all with a question. He says that since during the Covid19 pandemic, the earnings of companies have been hugely impacted, why is the stock prices going up?

He then will explain the reason for this by looking at the Earnings, EPS and the PE ratio of the past years. He then goes on to explain with a theory of Forward PE that the stock market is not living in the present but is looking at the future of the Indian economy.

He will then talk about how India’s growing economy and rising GDP is aiding the stock market recovery from the March lows. He will also talk about the correlation between the rising GDP and the earnings of the top 50 companies in India.

With the help of the earnings and PE figures of the past 20 years, in the video Mr. Bajaj will also discuss how the Nifty 50 makes bottoms and where the next bottom has been made. He will also mention how the Nifty 50 index only incorporates the top profit making companies in India as a result of which, the earnings of the Nifty will logically keep going up.
