Harriet Harvey Horn talks about the current climate we are living in today and how despite this climate chaos, we can be creative and come up with new climate possibilities in the future. Harriet Harvey Horn is a Climate Reality Project Leader, one of over 31,000 advocates in 135 countries personally trained by former US Vice President & Nobel Laureate, Al Gore, to present the latest facts on the climate crisis & solutions. Since training in 2018, Harriet has addressed audiences across the country & logged over 250 other Acts of Leadership. She is also co-chair of the Climate Reality San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and is active with the Foundation for Climate Restoration, 350.org and Sierra Club. Prior to committing her energies to the climate, Harriet enjoyed a 35-year high tech career, in engineering, marketing, management & consulting roles. She also held numerous leadership positions on nonprofit boards & volunteer organizations. Harriet holds an MBA from Santa Clara University & BS in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech, as well as several climate-related certifications. She and her husband live in Los Gatos. They have two sons in their 20’s who fuel Harriet’s passion to restore a healthy, livable habitat on Earth.
