Haltwhistle, Northumberland | Town Centre Walk 2020

The delightful little market town of Haltwhistle is located near Hadrian's Wall, by the border between Northumberland and Cumbria. Claiming to be the geographic centre of the island of Great Britain, there's loads to see and do in this wonderful countryside town which is steeped in history dating back at least 2,000 years.

On our brief walk around town, we pass a number of interesting sights, including St. Wilfrid's Church, Westgate, Main Street, The Black Bull Inn, Holy Cross Anglican Church, the Centre of Britain Hotel, the Tyne Gap, Aesica Road and the path towards Hadrian's Wall.
