Landing gear fail! Heavy Duty Container Rollover! So many people always ask me “how did that flip over standing still?“ and the answer is almost always a landing gear fail. People don’t realize how heavy these containers can be, and all that weight is concentrated on the small surface area at the landing gear. They either buckle under pressure or crack through weak asphalt or concrete.

This job was quick and easy as always, but still a fun little job. I got the call from my buddy Omar at Titan Tow to assist with a 40’ loaded container rollover. We showed up at the same time, and turns out it was only a 20’ container. Still, these are somehow almost ALWAYS heavier than a 40’ container. I didn’t have my load cells on my end, but we felt the weight and Omar showed about 40,000lbs on just the rear once it was upright.

Once we did have it upright, the company used a yard dog to grab it and act as securement so they can replace the broken landing gear. I wish I could make every video long, but as you’ll see here it’s just done too fast!
