When discussing trauma-informed care, it’s crucial to understand that it’s not always about significant, life-altering events. Even aversive experiences can impact the brain.

As BCBAs, it’s our responsibility to identify and minimize these aversive experiences to ensure we’re providing a safe and supportive environment for our learners.
