Robert Duff is a psychologist and author focused on creating self-help resources written for "real people". Jargon and unnecessarily complicated language almost lead to tragedy in his personal life and he describes how challenging yourself to use straightforward language provides unique opportunities to reach people.

Dr. Duff is a psychologist from Southern California that focuses on translating complex mental health issues into accessible formats for "real people.” He is the author of the Hardcore Self Help book series and the host of a podcast by the same name. In his day job, Dr. Duff practices psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessment out of a private practice in Camarillo, CA. Outside of work, he spends most of his time being silly with his family or playing video games.
