Get Close to Failure with Bodyweight Training
Each set does NOT require complete failure (nor would I advise that), but you should be getting CLOSER to it instead of being far off (hence easy home workouts). Always think of reps in reserve and rate of perceived exertion (RIR + RPE). This ensures volume efficiency and appropriate intensity. The muscle building process is extremely simplified in this way and explains why higher volume workouts + harder variation sessions both produce excellent results.
