I share demos in this video of using these new ink blending sponges. Remember to mist them with water before and during use to make blending easier.

Pros:
Larger blending surface compared to other foam blenders
Round shape so no awkward lines when blending
Great for stenciling as you can apply a lot of ink quickly
You can tap (for soft effects and circles) sweep or swirl ink
Color-coded sponges
Handy stand and storage containers
Lays down intense color well (harder to do subtle coloring)
The handle is comfortable to hold

Cons
Can feel awkward and cumbersome at first.
Harder to get a soft gradient in a large area
Need to wash if using pigment ink
The storage tray is a put shallow and I tend to knock them off the holder.

Bottom line:
If you do a lot of stenciling I would recommend these, they quick work of adding a lot of color. If you are after a tool that will give you soft and subtle shading this might not be the tool for you, in that case I'd recommend an in brush.
