How to make easy Delicious Homemade Oreo Cookies & Cream Ice Cream in Cuisnart Ice Cream Maker!

In this video I make some easy homemade Oreo's Cookies & Cream Ice Cream. One of my family's favorite! I also do a review on my Pioneer Woman Fiona Floral Miniature food chopper for the first time. My Recipe in Video:

1 Cup of Whole Milk, well chilled

1 Cup of Heavy Cream, well chilled

1/4 Teaspoon of Salt

1/4 cup of Sugar

1 Tablespoon of Vanilla (Pure Vanilla Extract) You can use less, like 1-2 teaspoons or to taste. I love the flavor of vanilla.

Oreos: I used about 6-7 Oreos or 3/4 cups, coarsely chopped (Do to the amount you like)

Note: It is better to mix the ingredients in a separate bowl first, then mix with a hand mixer or whisk before you add the mixture
to the freezer bowl.
In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer or a whisk to combine the milk and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved, about
1-2 minutes on low speed.

Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla to taste.

Turn machine on, pour mixture into freezer bowl through ingredient spout and let mix until thickened, about 25 to 30 minutes.

For the Cookie. Add the oreos when the mixture begins to thicken, preferably during the last 5 minute of mixing. You can add ground oreos and coarsely chopped to add different textures
to the ice cream

Note: You can add different variations of cookies and or candies, like chocolate chips or peanut butter cups (coarsely chopped or miniatures ones would be good) Choose toppings you like.
